About the project
I explored Yayoi Kusama's diverse methods to broaden my design approaches when generating work. This project emphasizes clear intention, and authenticity.
I was tasked with creating a mock event poster for a Kusama event. I wanted to capture the visual aesthetic of her visual grids and create a poster unique to her style.
The Concepts
I started this project by creating three different design directions.
Selected Direction
Once having a selected direction I went ahead and made more color variations using color palettes inspired by Kusama.
