About the project
I was tasked with creating a character and animating it using Motion Capture data from Mixamo.
I wanted to create a ballerina with a timeless and moody design. I was inspired by Film Noir lighting techniques.
Initial thoughts

Rim Light Test
This is an unused shot I used when I was initially setting up the scenes lighting. I wanted her to have a dramatic halo of light around her to make it appear as if she was glowing.
Establishing floor contact
Since this was my first-time using motion capture data, it was important for me to establish accurate ground contact to establish believability.
