The Design.

I knew right out of the gate I wanted to use a TON of color. This would be uncharted territory for me as I prefer working in monochromatic palettes. I wanted the shape language to stay abstract because I knew with the subject matter is something a lot of people can relate to.

The exploration on the right is what inspired the look of my thesis. This was my first time making procedural textures in Redshift.

The Concept

For my thesis, I wanted to tell the story of perseverance. I knew that it meant a lot to me to create a visual representation of my journey at Ringling. That included showing the ups and downs.
